The first day of term is almost upon us! Have you planned what you're going to do with your students on the first day? It's important to do some activities to build rapport, as well as establishing ground rules.

Here’s a quick checklist for you to help you plan your first-day lessons:

Get to know the students’ names
Establish your English and L1 policies
Establish basic rules
Identify classroom duties and responsibilities
Set up your end-of-class routines
Introduce useful classroom language
