We are a professional and dynamic organisation that promotes language learning and language teaching in a very friendly atmosphere. We have a team of native, qualified and experienced teachers who enjoy our work and generate an atmosphere of respect and affection. Our priorities are our students and trainees. Together, we share our enthusiasm for language learning and language teaching, and hope that they both achieve their full potential. Therefore, we offer quality academic language instruction for all levels and ages (from 3 years old) and a variety of Trinity-Accredited Teacher Training Courses.
The Language School
In Active Language we believe that learning a language means not only studying grammar and vocabulary but, basically, using the language. Therefore, we rely on a communicative approach where students use what they learn and practice in an English environment.
All our teachers take part in our Professional Development Meetings that take place every fortnight. As a team, our commitment is to constantly excel in all fields to which we dedicate.
We offer classes for all levels and all ages, as well as preparation courses for the Cambridge official examinations, with an individual follow up process that includes quarterly reports and meetings between teachers and students (and parents) if they wish. We approach each student individually, both academically and administratively, generating a positive environment that promotes personal development.
Every year, Active Language becomes more involved in the local community of Cadiz, establishing long-term business relationships and developing community action projects.
The Teacher Training Centre
Active Language is also a centre for training teachers. We are one of the official suppliers of the Trinity Certificate in TESOL Course, one of two internationally recognized qualifications in teaching English as a foreign language recognized by the British Council and accredited by Trinity College London. The teacher training courses are conducted in the same environment of respect and affection that our students enjoy. We hope to pass on our love of teaching to our trainees to make this first foray into language teaching as fun and rewarding as possible.
To start a rewarding career teaching English, our Career Service team offers both individual and personalised career guidance and life-long support, and extensive employment connections all over the world, throughout Spain and especially in Andalusia.
